Exhibition on Sigurd Leeder – Tracing dance’s legacy

Dance is an ephemeral art form and yet the traces it leaves behind can be profoundly enduring.
Parallel to Swiss Dance Days 2019, the SAPA Foundation (Swiss Archive of the Performing Arts) invites the audience to plunge back into the history of dance alongside Sigurd Leeder (1902 -1981), a dancer, professor and internationally acclaimed choreographer. SAPA, which conserves and enhances Switzerland’s performing arts heritage, has teamed up with the museum of design in Zurich for an unprecedented exhibition.
